Scott Srebnick is the Chief Executive Officer of Goldman Properties, a second-generation family business established in 1968 by Srebnick’s late father-in-law, the legendary place maker and visionary Tony Goldman. For more than 50 years, Goldman Properties has been recognizing the value in depressed urban areas, revitalizing declining districts into popular, thriving global destinations. Goldman Properties has received several ULI awards for its projects, including the Global Award for Excellence for the internationally-acclaimed Wynwood Walls in 2016 and the 7th Street Ballet Valet garage in 1999.
Srebnick oversees the management and development of the company’s portfolio of assets in New York, Philadelphia, Miami Beach, Wynwood, and Doral. These assets span a variety of sectors, including office, retail, residential, industrial, and hospitality.
Srebnick received a B.A. in Economics (magna cum laude) from Amherst College in 1987, and a J.D. (cum laude) from Harvard Law School in 1990. For more than 25 years prior to joining Goldman Properties, Srebnick was a leading trial and appellate lawyer, representing professionals including lawyers, bankers, public officials, and corporate executives in high profile cases around the country. Srebnick was perennially recognized as one of the top 100 lawyers in the State of Florida, taught a seminar at the University of Miami School of Law, and received numerous accolades, including Most Effective Lawyer by the Daily Business Review for his 2016 victory in the United States Supreme Court in the landmark case, Luis v. United States.
Srebnick’s legal acumen and business strategy helped Goldman Properties emerge stronger through the Covid-19 period. He has also led successful ventures into new zones, including the acquisition and adaptive reuse of flex warehouses in Doral and the acquisition and disposition of a retail portfolio in St. Petersburg.
Srebnick is on the Board of Trustees of his alma mater, Ransom Everglades School, and is an active contributor to many charities, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami and Cycle for Survival.
Srebnick lives in Miami with his wife, Jessica Goldman Srebnick. They have three sons. Srebnick is fluent in Spanish (and English).
