Double Knot Miami Brings Philadelphia’s Acclaimed Sushi Scene to Wynwood Walls

We’re thrilled to announce that Double Knot Miami has officially opened at our iconic Wynwood Walls complex, marking another exciting chapter in our ongoing partnership with Chef Michael Schulson and the Schulson Collective team.

Located at 2550 Northwest Second Avenue in the former Wynwood Kitchen & Bar space, this 4,500-square-foot Japanese izakaya represents more than just a new restaurant opening – it’s a testament to the power of cultivating long-term creative partnerships across multiple markets.

Our relationship with Chef Schulson began in Philadelphia, where the original Double Knot has been a cornerstone tenant in our Midtown Village portfolio. That collaboration taught us something valuable: when you find partners who share your vision for transforming neighborhoods through exceptional experiences, magic happens. Schulson’s approach to hospitality, creating distinctive, culturally rich dining destinations, aligns perfectly with our philosophy of breathing new life into overlooked urban spaces.

For us at Goldman Properties, this opening represents more than expanding our restaurant portfolio. It demonstrates our commitment to nurturing creative partnerships that can flourish across different markets and contexts. The same vision that made Double Knot a success in Philadelphia’s evolving Midtown Village has found new expression in Miami’s dynamic Wynwood district.

We couldn’t be more excited to see how this next chapter unfolds, both for Double Knot and for the continued evolution of Wynwood as a world-class cultural destination.
