Miami Beach

Beginning in 1985, Goldman Properties pioneered the resurgence of South Beach, an area that had been facing challenges with its reputation. Goldman Properties, however, saw the future American Riviera; and envisioned a breathtaking pastel sweep of Art Deco architecture that would shape Miami Beach’s identity moving forward.

Goldman Properties purchased and restored eighteen properties and fought to preserve the historic nature of the Art Deco district. Upon the team’s arrival, a snapshot of the future was taken: a coastal paradise with sidewalk cafés, hotels, music, and languages spilling into the streets, people everywhere. Goldman Properties’ work to realize that vision has made Miami Beach a world-renowned travel destination.

One of the company’s crowning achievements includes the restoration of the 1939 Tiffany Hotel into The Tony Hotel South Beach. In June 2012, Tony Goldman received the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce’s Lifetime Achievement Award, which is presented to an individual whose exceptional lifetime contributions of community leadership and philanthropic endeavors have improved the quality of life of Miami Beach citizens. In 2021, Tony Goldman was inducted, posthumously, into the Miami Beach Hall of Fame.
